About Us:
VSL Veterinary Clinic is an international companion animal veterinary practice located in Boeung Keng Kang 1, Phnom Penh, the capital city of Cambodia.
Founded and headed by English RVC graduate Dr Lauren Marsden, we aim to provide gold standard care & excellent client communication to the pet owners of Phnom Penh and beyond.
We pride ourselves on having a diverse and multicultural team of animal lovers and special interest veterinarians at VSL. Candidates should be patient and comfortable dealing with owners across a broad spectrum of socioeconomic backgrounds, who may not speak English as a first language (our local staff are excellent translators).
Cambodia has a multitude of sick, stray, abused and abandoned small animals and it's our mission to improve the level of care they receive by normalising high veterinary care standards. Candidates can expect many case studies unique to the southeast Asia region that are otherwise rare in the western world, thus offering a unique and hands-on experience from the comfort of our modern, fully equipped clinic.
We are also proud to support ‘Animal Rescue Cambodia’. ARC is a leading animal welfare organisation in Phnom Penh. Their mission is to tackle overpopulation through neutering programs, educate local communities about animal welfare, and improve the quality of veterinary care in Cambodia through training.
