Makara Nuon

Makara Nuon started working for VSL in September 2017 after obtaining her Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Royal University of Agriculture in Cambodia.

She is currently enrolled in a DVM course and will be fully qualified by 2024. Makara has a special interest in small animal surgery and is keen to continue learning from the more experienced veterinary surgeons at VSL.

At the end of 2022, Makara was promoted to Assistant Manager at VSL. She particularly enjoys improving her technical surgery skills and engaging with the VSL clients and their pets. Nursing sick animals back to health and providing excellent customer service are Makara’s passion.

When not at work, Makara likes to relax at home with her 3 rescue cats Saivam, Ben and Ah Meow. She also has a dog named Pommi. In her spare time, she also loves to travel, read, study, and spend time with her family and friends.
